   • Gold Membership is exactly as we have stated... a monthly subscription of $19.70 which continues for the duration of your membership (except for members who, during a period of twelve consecutive months normal membership, post at least one ORIGINAL article and make at least two new posts to the forum. Gold Members who meet that requirement will, at the end of 12 months, be upgraded to Platinum Member and will pay no more.)
      
   • Platinum Membership can be purchased straight away for a single payment of $197.00. That's a 17% saving and no requirement to make any written contributions (though you are VERY welcome to do so!). Platinum membership is permanent. There are no time limits.
